A Brand New Addition Honoring All Survivors!

I'm excited to announce the launch of our new Survivor Sweatshirt!

Sometimes people ask where I get my ideas for sayings. Obviously, some are pretty popular in general! But this particular saying has a special story behind it.

Last winter, a woman came into our pop-up Bryant Park location and asked if we had anything for her husband, who had received a heart transplant. She mentioned something like, "Maybe... Survivor?"

Her suggestion was so powerful and personal, and her story touched me so much that I kept it in mind for the future.

This year, "Survivor" is a new addition to Declan. As I was sewing it, I realized that there are so many different survivors in the world, and I love being able to honor and empower them. This is why I chose to go with a neutral color - so that ALL survivors can wear it proudly. 

Some of us may go through circumstances that are more tragic and intense than others, but in some ways, we all have had to survive challenging moments during our lifetime. Heroes like her husband inspire and lead us in being brave in the hardest of times.
